When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name. When you list a book, you provide a title, author, contact information, price, condition, and photos.

2. How We Use It

Your email and name allow you to sign in and manage your listings. Your book information is shown to other users so they can find and contact you about buying your books.

3. Data Storage & Backups

All data is stored on our server (Fly.io, Los Angeles) with automated weekly backups. We retain only what is needed to operate the service.

4. Data We NEVER Collect

We do not collect passwords, payment information, browsing history from other sites, or location data. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics services.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

BookLoop is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, use the Feedback form on the My Books page to request deletion.

6. Your Rights

• Delete your listings — You can delete any of your own book listings from the My Books page at any time, instantly.
• Request account deletion — Use the Feedback form on the My Books page to request full account and data removal. We will delete all your listings, data, and uploaded images.

7. Third Parties

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties. We use Google OAuth for sign-in (governed by Google's privacy policy).
