1. Platform Role

BookLoop is an information platform only. We connect buyers and sellers but do not participate in, facilitate, or guarantee any transaction. All deals happen directly between users.

2. User Responsibilities

By using BookLoop, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and honest information about yourself and your book listings
• Only list books you legally own and have the right to sell
• Not impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Assume all risk for transactions you enter into

3. Prohibited Content & Behavior

You may NOT use BookLoop to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Sell illegal, stolen, pirated (including unauthorized e-book copies), or prohibited items
• Post advertising, spam, chain letters, or promotional content
• Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Post sexually explicit or obscene content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Collect or scrape other users' information
• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law

4. Intellectual Property (Copyright)

You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting on BookLoop, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform. You may only post content (including book photos and descriptions) that you own or have the legal right to share. We respect copyright — if you believe your work has been posted without permission, contact us.

5. Payments & Transactions

BookLoop does not process payments, hold funds, or provide escrow services. Users arrange payment and delivery independently. We strongly recommend meeting in person at a safe location to exchange books and payment.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

BookLoop is provided "as is". We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee that the site will always be online, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or safety of any user-posted content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookLoop and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to financial losses, disputes between users, or harm resulting from in-person meetings.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion. You may request account deletion at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of BookLoop after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the site.
